We will provide walk-in support from 3:00-5:00pm during the event. We will be available for questions about how to talk to employers, effective introductions (and handshakes), job applications, interviewing and suggestions for following up with employers after the job fair.
Presenters will be Tobi Hay and Michelle St. Onge
Tobi Hay is a Career Counselor and Employer Relations Specialist in the Career Development Center at SUNY Plattsburgh. She has over seven years of experience in career counseling and corporate recruiting. Her expertise includes job search strategies, resume and cover letter writing, interviewing skills, and career exploration. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Women's Studies from Colgate University and a Master's degree in Student Affairs from Syracuse University.
Michelle St. Onge is the Technology Coordinator in the Career Development Center at SUNY Plattsburgh. Her career counseling experience is drawn from over 15 years as a certified career coach where she served business and community members affected by a reduction in workforce. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Vermont as well as a dual Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs and Guidance & Counseling from Bowling Green State University in Ohio.
