You must be present for both days in order to receive your OSHA Card.
Description: This course covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as construction industry safety and health principles. Upon successful course completion, the student will receive an OSHA construction industry safety and health 10-hour course completion card.
Main topics covered in this course include:
- Scope and application of the OSHA construction industry standards
- Special emphasis on those areas that are the most hazardous (i.e., fall protection, caught-in-between, struck by, and electrical)
- Hazard communication
- Silica
- Personal protective equipment, hand & power tools, scaffolding, excavation, fire safety, etc.
