| Founded in 1964, the SCORE Association (Service Corps of Retired Executives) is a
nonprofit association dedicated to entrepreneur education and the formation, growth and
success of small businesses nationwide. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration. SCORE has 389 chapters in locations throughout the United States and its territories, with 12,400 volunteers nationwide. Local chapters provide free counseling and low-cost workshops in their communities. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate their time and expertise as business counselors. Our Clinton-Franklin-Essex Chapter serves all of Clinton, Essex and Franklin Counties in New York State, with more than a dozen trained, experienced Counselors available to assist you. Though best known for advising people interested in starting a business, SCORE is a valuable resource for existing businesses as well. We can offer advice and assistance with matters as varied as expansion, growing pains, marketing, cash flow problems, updating business plans, personnel policies, financial practices and virtually any other challenge confronting you.
