Preparing for New York’s new Sexual Harassment Law and
Avoiding the Legal Pitfalls of the Paid Family Leave Law, FMLA and the ADA
Join us for this two part HR Seminar. Part 1 will deal with the new requirements in New York, which cover all employers, designed to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace. Learn the important requirements of this new law, and what you must do to prepare and train your employees.
The second part of the seminar will focus on managing protected leave, and review basics relating to administering New York’s Paid Family Leave Law, the Family Medical Leave Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act, and provide guidance on how to navigate these tricky issues.
Presenter: Jacqueline Kelleher, Esq. of Stafford, Owens Law Firm will lead the discussion on these issues, based on her experience in representing employers in legal matters for over twenty years.
